Maggie Stickney Art is the studio and online shop of artist Maggie Stickney. We want collectors to feel comfortable purchasing artwork online, and we are happy to answer questions before you place an order.
Because original artwork is one-of-a-kind, returns are handled with care and must be requested before anything is shipped back.
Original Artwork
Original artwork may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a refund, provided the artwork is returned in the same condition in which it was received and in its original or equivalent protective packaging.
To begin a return, please contact us at info@maggiestickney.com within 7 days of delivery. Please include your order number or proof of purchase.
If your return is accepted, we will provide return instructions and the return shipping address. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Unless the artwork arrived damaged or there was an error with the order, the buyer is responsible for return shipping. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and packaging the artwork carefully.
Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to damage or an error on our part.
Prints
Prints are generally final sale, especially if they are made to order. If your print arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at info@maggiestickney.com within 7 days of delivery so we can help make it right.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If the artwork or print is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at info@maggiestickney.com.
Please include:
- Photos of the damaged artwork or print
- Photos of the packaging
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- A brief description of the issue
Please keep all original packaging until the issue is resolved. Depending on the situation, we may offer a repair, replacement, refund, or another appropriate resolution.
Non-Returnable Items
Commissioned artwork, custom artwork, special orders, made-to-order prints, gift cards, and sale items are final sale unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
Commission deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Exchanges
Because original artwork is one-of-a-kind, we do not offer traditional exchanges. If you would like a different available artwork or print, please contact us and we can help you decide the best next step.
European Union, United Kingdom, and Other International Customers
If merchandise is shipped to the European Union, United Kingdom, or another location that provides mandatory consumer cancellation or return rights, Maggie Stickney Art will honor rights required by applicable law.
For EU and UK customers, you may have the right to cancel or return eligible online purchases within 14 days of delivery, subject to applicable exceptions.
Returned artwork must be in the same condition in which it was received and in its original or equivalent protective packaging. You will need the order number or proof of purchase.
Commissioned artwork, custom artwork, personalized work, special orders, and made-to-order items may be excluded from cancellation rights where allowed by applicable law.
Unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect, the buyer is responsible for return shipping, including international return shipping.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that your bank or credit card company may need additional time to process and post the refund.
